MD 10000 (3CCD) is just a consumer edition camera with limited production quality. But it is very helpful for the beginners.Easy to use and manage.
Sony PD 170 is a very useful piece of equipment with good video quality. Most of the professional cameramen suggest this. It is very handy and the audio recording quality is commendable.

| Nikon D90 |
Nikon D90 has a video recording option. But it is very limited and the video quality can be anything. Exposure adjustments will be a real problem. Since it is a still cam it has its limitations to work as a video camera. Unlike a handycam it is not flexible. Movements are limited. But we can create HD videos using this camera if we want. We have done short films using this simple but superb equipment.
